Duane and I were lucky enough to be able to raise our two sons here in San Carlos, yet moved back the year they were hauling the concrete down Brittan Avenue as they were demolishing San Carlos High School (1987). It was so sad. The kids endured their having ending up attending Sequoia High School...but it would have been so nice if only... The consolation from that is that it was the school their father's older brother graduated from.
