A BUNCH OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING ABOUT THE DRESS CODE. THE COMMITTEE ENVISIONED THIS REUNION MORE CASUAL THAN THE PAST, BUT TRULY YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOUR LITTLE HEARTS DESIRE. AS LONG AS YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, SO BE IT.
Friday, October 3: For you hackers out there, we'll be playing a round of golf at Shoreline Golf Course in the morning (9 a.m.). Cart, green fees and warm-up bucket will be $45 -- if interested, contact Frank Rodriguez at hoopsoul@myastound.net.
Friday evening, there will be a no-host cocktail party at the Hotel Sofitel (our host hotel) in Redwood Shores from 6-9 p.m. Good chance to run into some classmates at an informal setting.
Saturday, October 4: It's up to you, kick-around the hotel pool, hang out at the bars on Laurel Street or take a cruise up Melendy Drive to sit on somebody's front lawn where the high school used to be!
Saturday evening, the main event at Sparky's Garage in San Carlos, from 6 p.m. to midnight. $95 per person for all the food, beverages, music, games, prizes and some of your favorite people from 40+ years ago!
We have blocked off a limited number of discounted rooms ($119) at Hotel Sofitel for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, so be sure to call the hotel at 650-598-9000 as soon as possible to reserve your room. Be sure to mention the San Carlos High School reunion.
There will be a shuttle from the hotel to Sparky's and back.
All-in-all, it should be a tremendous time.
Note: Your reunion committee, Stacy (Fennelly) Murphy, Karin (Koff) Abel, Jim Serrano, Ian Wallace and Mike Barnett, have been hard at work putting the details together. They have a request: Sign up early! Reunions require deposits, and you might remember our school doesn't exist anymore -- that means no alumni fund or anything like it! We've had to shell out the seed money from our own pockets, and some early signups would go a long way in helping out! (Plus, it's $125 at the door)
How this site works:

You can then click on Events to sign up and securely pay for the event at Sparky's using your credit or debit card, go to the Message Board to post a message to your classmates and more! Also, we will provide updates through this web site, so check back often. You can also use the Contact Us link to contact your reunion committee with any questions you might have.
